Bops or Flops Music Reviews – Lindsay Lohan Back To Me

To meeeee

I have really been enjoying Lindsay Logan’s discography again. It kinda started with Hilary Duff and Britney Spears then my algorithm just threw Lindsay Lohan in the mix.

While Lohan doesn’t have the powerhouse vocals of some of her contemporaries and counterparts, she does have an awfully unique vocal. It’s kinda a sexy, husky female smoker voice without the smoke. It’s a very, very interesting voice to listen to.

I actually really like the lyricism of this song she put out. I think she was having fun sonically by sort of shouting out her Club Kid era. There are some audio tropes of the beat drop, the exaggerated pitch down and up of her vocal. She’s using her voice as an instrument which I really enjoy.

I’d say this is a bop. It’s a bit cheesy but it’s fun to listen to. The lyrics are meaningful to Lindsay herself and the beat is fun. The whole song is rather easy to put on the background and leave on repeat. It loops on itself rather seamlessly. To me, that’s important for any earworm: it should loop on itself and loop beautifully.

It’s not gonna win a Grammy; however, I think it won at least a place in your workout playlist.

It’s fun!
